Winnipeg is our home. We know the challenges our neighbors face — from harsh winters to tough economic times — and we want to be part of the solution. That’s why we launched our Pay It Forward Project: a way for us to give back by providing a free roof to a Winnipeg homeowner in need.

Every year, we select a deserving individual or family who is facing difficult circumstances. Maybe their roof is leaking, maybe they’ve been dealt a tough hand financially, or maybe they simply can’t afford the repairs they desperately need. For them, a safe, reliable roof isn’t just a home improvement project — it’s peace of mind, security, and stability.

Through the Pay It Forward Project, our team provides the roof at absolutely no cost. It’s our way of saying thank you to the city that has supported us, and of living out our values of integrity, care, and community.

How Pristine's Pay-It-Forward Works

1. Nominations

Community members can nominate someone who might not have the resources to repair or replace their roof. This could be a family facing financial hardship, someone dealing with unexpected life challenges, or an individual simply unable to afford necessary repairs. And yes — people can even nominate themselves if they’re in need.

2. Selection

Our team reviews the nominations carefully, considering the urgency of need, circumstances, and overall impact on the family’s safety and stability. We select one deserving individual or family to receive a full roof replacement at absolutely no cost.

3. Roof Installation

Once we’ve chosen a deserving homeowner, our work is just beginning — and it’s the part we love most. Our team personally reaches out to the selected individual or family to share the good news and walk them through the next steps.

From there, we install a brand new, high-quality roof on their home.

4. Kindness Grows

Our hope is that kindness inspires kindness. When we give back to a homeowner in need, we believe it doesn’t end with a new roof — it creates a ripple effect throughout the community.

By easing the burden for one family, we hope to inspire neighbors, friends, and even strangers to look for their own ways to pay it forward.
